I started practicing yoga ten years ago with a dynamism that matched my energetic attitude to life, wanting to stretch and sweat away the frazzling world of insurance and investments.
As the years have gone by, I now experience and teach these practices from a shifted mindset. Through expression and listening, challenge and acceptance I've studied how the body and mind have the ability to re-harmonise and transform. Or more simply, how yoga supports a settled nervous system
I've been teaching yoga & mindfulness for 6 years, with 600 hours of training & 1,000+ hours of teaching. My studies along the way draw in psychological, neuroscientific and experiential understanding of meditative practices. My background in a corporate, analytical setting grounds my teaching business & fuels my interest in moving from the cognitive, rational mind into our entire mindbody experience to allow integration, healing & growth.
Whether you're experienced or just plain curious, my classes welcome a range of bodies and backgrounds to join me in a relaxed, light-hearted and open container. Holding space for you to carve your own path through the ebbs and flows of life and land back within your own beautifully complex and complete being.
